Procrastination Station
I’ve got a multitude of things to do this week - study, pack, study, pack, hang out with friends, study, pack, hang out with friends. I think I’m going to prioritize…. but who am I kidding? It’s too hard to prioritize this list. Should I procrastinate studying by packing? Or packing by studying? I’ve already decided that I’m going to do the bulk of my studying during the day so I can do whatever at night, but I almost never follow my plans for things such as this. I mean, it worked well last week, but will it work/happen this week? Probably not.
On any account though, my main goal is going to be to soak up the last week that I have at Elon. Make it count! Carpe Diem!

The UNC-Duke rivalry is the best in the country:
Mike Krzyzewski: There is no other area like this. It produces things, situations, feelings that you can’t talk to other people about. Because they have no understanding of it.
Roy Williams: [The rivalry] has been [the epicenter of basketball] for a long time. There is no question that I feel very flattered to be a small part of it myself. But it’s two great institutions, two great basketball programs who have been very successful.I’m personally a NC State fan, but which team do y’all pull for?

Never lose an opportunity of seeing anything that is beautiful; for beauty is God’s handwriting - a wayside sacrament. Welcome it in every fair face, in every fair sky, in every fair flower, and thank God for it as a cup of blessing.

this is so sad
TV on the Radio bassist Gerard Smith passed away earlier today after a battle with lung cancer, according to the band’s official site. Their beautiful recent video for “Killer Crane” features photos of the group throughout the years, and it feels especially poignant right now.
